Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet was an Internet pioneer, launching its first web service in 1994. Today it is one of Europe's most visited media web sites. The paper edition has a daily readership of more than 1.5 million people.

Aftonbladet uses the Polopoly technology to power their community and premium content services. Among these services a number of outstanding successes can be found, such as Viktklubb - the Weight Club - which is a heavy personalized online diet service. The total number of paying customers - paying from Euro 30 and upwards - amounts to 125,000. Together with Aftonbladet, Polopoly offers the Weight Club as a white-labelled turn-key diet service, which can be acquired by media players from other markets.
